The F-Stop Has Gone Out of Business
I would like to personally thank those of you who tried so hard to keep us in business and the many, many people who have utilized our services over the past year, gone from clients to friends and came to love that funky old place as much as I did. Warmest wishes to all of you.
I intend to keep this website going with the hope of opening a new place soon. The F-Stop taught me a lifetime about this business in the brief year we were open and I still believe the business model can be sound and profitable. The F-Stop
Welcome to The F-Stop, the Pacific Northwest's most unique photographic studio rentals. Located right on the beautiful Pioneer Square, just two doors north of Doc Maynard's and the Old Seattle Underground Tours, The F-Stop features five separate studios and seven shooting locations, a large lounge area, WI-FI and restroom.
Our most popular area is Studio A. This used to be part of the old Seattle underground tours. In Studio A you're actually outside the building and under the sidewalk. All sorts of ductwork, rock and brick walls make this an exciting and unique location for your creative photographic needs.
Next to the underground is Studio B. We've arranged this studio to look just like a studio apartment, complete with furniture, a beatiful claw foot bathtub and a king-sized bed with red satin sheets. Studio B is perfect for lingerie, artistic nudes, glamour or fashion.
Studio C is our seamless room featuring paper backdrops. Depending on color chosen it's excellent for high key, low key, artistic or portraiture.
Studio D is our "dungeon." Featuring weathered brick walls, an old fireplace area and plenty of room, Studio D is the second most popular area at The F-Stop.
Our final studio is Studio E. This has extremely worn and weathered brick. It also has that funky dungeony air about it...perfect for a sense of claustrophobia!
In addition to the above studios The F-stop has several shooting areas including the stage and furniture in our lounge, a gated entranceway and old stairs.
